Showcase of Wine & Cheese Reaches Goal
More than 2,000 wine lovers gathered at the Oregon Convention Center on Feb. 12th for the seventh annual Showcase of Wine & Cheese. Presented by Fred Meyer, the 2010 Showcase featured an incredible variety of wines, cheeses and gourmet foods.
Special guest, Amy Roloff, took the stage with host Erin Hubert for an entertaining live auction featuring unique travel packages.
At the VIP Winemaker’s Dinner, Feb. 11th at the Portland Art Museum, guest host, Queen Latifah, spoke movingly about her experiences growing up in the Boys & Girls Club, reminding guests of the tremendous impact one gift can have on the life of a child.
As economic conditions continue to have a devastating impact on our Club families, we are truly grateful for the community support that allows us to provide crucially needed services for thousands of children in the metro area.
